Embrace what you have.
I will admit, the situation in Ukraine has really saddened me. Honestly, much more than the pandemic has. Probably because with the pandemic, we were able to take steps to do something about it and had some control (although that is very controversial and not the intention of the post). But with Ukraine, innocent people are getting killed and hurt because a world leader wanted to take land that wasnโt theirs. I had not looked into the politics of the situation so have no comment on it.
I just donโt understand how Putin, after knowing history and the devastation that war has caused hundreds of thousands of people to die could want to attack. And that should they conquer, there will always be animosity and hatred of the Ukrainian people towards Russia and will always be a hostile environment.
The Ukrainians had a way of life that has been severely compromised and threatened and most likely will never be the same. As someone who cares deeply about humanity, and dedicated my life to uplifting people through Taekwondo and Empowered Mastery coaching, this is very hard to swallow.
I hope and pray for a quick resolution for peace. Hats off to the fighting spirit of the Ukrainians who we will be reading about for years to come and wish them success. It is also refreshing to see so much worldly support towards Ukraine.
All I could think of is embrace what you have in life, because it could be stripped away tomorrow, and what you thought was important, is nothing compared to survival. I am sure that is what is being felt around the world. I stand with the Ukrainian people. ๐๐๐
