One of the greatest lessons I learned in my Taekwondo career is “what you put into your training is what you get out of it.” Case in point…I have trained hard from when I started in 1983 and continue to do so today. As a result of putting a lot of time and energy into my training, I have made a great career doing what I love and impacting countless lives. This is a wonderful feeling and continues to empower me to train harder. It falls perfectly in line with earning the right to do what you do.
This is not just limited to Taekwondo training but everything in life. What you put into your health, you’ll get out of it. Just ask my wife. She works so hard at being healthy, exercising daily and eating super clean. As a result, some people mistake her as my daughter and not my wife. Not to cool, but she really loves it.
Same rules applies to your business, relationships, parenting, really anything. The energy you put into something will have a direct reflection of your results. So as we always say, if you want to change the results in any area of your life, you have to first change your thoughts. On top of that, to continue to put energy and nurture the thoughts as well. I hope you all find something very worthy and meaningful to put attention to and live a happy and fulfilled life as I have. It’s a great feeling!
