Any Hamilton fans here? I am very much looking forward for Broadway to re-open it so I could see it live. I’ve been listening to the songs for a while now. (Yes, I enjoy broadway tunes) What an amazing play/story. Thank you Disney+ for getting it out to the world. What an amazing performance.
What resonated with me the most was the words, “Legacy; it’s planting seeds in a garden that you will never see”. What a powerful description of the concept, Leaving a legacy.
This got me thinking on how important it is to have a Worthy Ideal that inspires you. I start asking myself these questions: What are people going to say about me when I’m gone. And will I leave a legacy beyond my personal friends and family.
It is kind of hard to think about this when there is a global pandemic. However, it is evident that the pandemic is part of the narrative with the legacy I plan to, and all of us have to leave. This is a perfect example of seeds we need to plant now to ensure this never happens for future generations; and we probably won’t be seeing it.
I highly recommend you take a moment and reflect, as I did, on the the verse that stimulated my mind to think about my legacy. It inspired me, and hope it does for you.
