Always return things in better condition then when you received it
This is a lesson my parents taught me at a long age and one that I work hard to instill in my children. My son’s car is in the shop and he asked if he could borrow my daughters car in the mean time. I mentioned to him that he should always return things in better condition than when he received it. He explained to me that the car is dirty inside. I told him he should get it cleaned for her. He said there wasn’t any gas in it. I said he should fill the tank for her? Is that fair? Would you do the same?
I strongly believe that when you borrow something from someone, no matter what condition, they are selflessly giving you something of theirs. This is an important note that we really all need to comprehend. We should show such gratitude and make sure we go above and beyond than what someone expects. It is the right thing to do and the positive energy you give out will always come back to you. Also, if you even need to borrow something again, they will always be willing to do so.
