One of the greatest gifts I have received in my life is the gift of mentorship. I have been blessed with individuals who have guided me in whatever venture or adventure I was doing whether it be martial arts, business, sport or life. As a teacher and coach myself, and title of Grandmaster, it is important to continue to grow myself so I could raise others up. Grandmaster Byung Min Kim once said, the only way to have life long students is to continue to train and advance yourself. This way you will always raise the bar for them and give them something to aspire to. The biggest downfall in leadership is a so-called leader thinking that they know it all. Truth is, the only way to know how much you know is when you realize how much you don’t know. A little wisdom to pass on….enjoy.
