The power of singular focus.
Have you ever been engaged in a project and so singularly focused that it is difficult to comprehend any additional information? This happens to me all the time, especially when I am doing any type of creative work, whether it be a construction project, or something for the martial arts programs, or with Empowered Mastery. Distractions slow me down to the point I could get frustrated. (Yes, I do get frustrated at times). It’s kind of like running a marathon and you have 26.2 miles to run but you have to start and stop 17 times. More energy goes into the start than if you were able to continue on.
What’s the strategy? Do the work and turn off your phones, take off the Apple Watch and just focus on the task at hand. I promise you that your world will still exist when you go back to your phones. Freedom of mind could be your greatest asset.
