Do a little bit more
Have you ever been with a family member or someone you love and were too lazy to do something for them? Or has a stranger needed something and you jumped up to help them?
It’s interesting how and why that happens. I think it’s because we are too comfortable with the ones we love the most. My partner Paul Melella said it best, “We should treat our clients like our family and more importantly, our family like our clients.” Pretty powerful, right? Because we will always go above and beyond for customers, students, and clients, but sometimes when your family needs something, we’re too tired. Please tell me that I’m not the only one guilty of this at times?
However, I am proud to say I have been making a conscious effort to make sure I’m not lazy, and do things to help more. I make our bed everyday, I do dishes, empty and load the dishwasher, I do laundry, I make tea, the only thing I can’t do is cook, cause last time I cooked, we both got sick. 😂. My point is, we all should do a little bit more to those we love the most to make sure we are treating our family like our best clients.
Happy living!
