Do you have problems? I personally refer to problems as challenges, never the less, an issue you are currently facing. I was dealing with one of these problems/challenges/obstacles yesterday with our Vermont home. No need for details, but a situation has become a huge mess. I told my brother about the issue. He said to me. “I don’t know how you do it. If it were me I would have had an ulcer”. My response was, “It’ll all be fine, everything will work out”.
Basically, I dis-associated how I felt from the situation and was not going to let it ruin my day. I think if I got upset over every challenge I faced, I would be the most miserable person on earth. I also decided not to respond to the issue haste-fully, so I could sort my options in my mind.
I’m still in the thick of my challenge, but I am also still happy!
The way I look at it is we are only on this planet for a little time, so I plan to make the most of it and not let outside circumstance affect how I feel. It also helps that I am currently in beautiful Park City Utah snowboarding with my beautiful wife and the infamous Melella clan.
Have an amazing day and don’t take things personal.
