Sometimes You Have To Take A Step Back.
Have you ever tried to fit a square peg in a round hole? Have you tried so hard at something, made no progress, then come back a little later and and it worked.
A very long time ago, I was building a Jeep CJ7. For the car enthusiast, it had a corvette motor; LT1 Chevy 350 pushing 500 horse power. It would take a mustang off the line no problem, except if I had to turn. LOL
I was working on it late one night at my in-law’s garage and absolutely nothing worked. I couldn’t even tighten a bolt correctly and was getting more frustrated by the minute. I left late that night angry and ready to throw my wrench out the window.
I arrive the next morning and everything I was working on the night before came together seamlessly.
As a martial artist, I remember working on a technique, frustrated I couldn’t do it, came back the next day and nailed it.
Why?
I believe, as well as many others, everything is energy and when you approach things while being frustrated and angry, it’s like fitting the round peg in a square hole. When you are relaxed, and let situations and scenarios process, you are able to approach in a more call and centered way. It’s amazing but true.
My question to you is how could you relate this to your own life in today’s world and circumstance?
