What Gets Measured Gets Managed

I’ve been using this concept a lot lately and say it often to my clients. We know exactly how much money we have so we could manage what is spent. We typically know what weight we are when we get in the scale and therefore we could manage it.

I believe where many fall short is managing their thoughts. Awareness of what you are thinking is taking an assessment and measurement of what’s happening in your mind. Are you positive or negative? What is the re-occurring thought that keeps popping up. Once you know what you are thinking, then you could manage and choose what to think.

There is nothing special about this concept accept having a keen awareness of what you are thinking.

How to change your thoughts? Simply think about something positive, maybe something or someone that you are grateful for, put on an uplifting song, watch an uplifting movie or show, do whatever it takes to feel better and get your mind right.

I say this because many are going through a difficult time. Take your measurement of your mind, manage and be happy. Regardless of what’s going on, it’s a great day to be alive!
