Over the Corona circumstance there has been a lot of time to think and reflect for us all. One thing that came to mind is that the public should care “less” about certain things and care “more” about others. Don’t get confused with being “careless” with caring “less”. Over the next number of weeks while we hopefully start re-opening our communities soon, I’ll release what I believed we should care “less” and care “more” about.
First one is….we should care less about what other people say and care more about what makes you happy. Think about it; so many people are influenced about what other people and put a lot of weight on their words as if it’s truth. One thing we always have to remember is that we could choose to accept, reject and neglect any thought that comes to mind, which includes the thoughts derived from what other people say. Just let them say it, agree or not, and move on. Once you react, it’s just adding unnecessary fuel to an already burning fire.
Why not care more about how you feel and what bring you personal joy. This is why I love to disconnect from all forms of media at times. I don’t even have to listen to things that have the potential to get me down. In a sense, ignorance is bliss but we should still be aware.
