If You Were To Take A Poll

If you were to take a poll as to how much negativity is out there as opposed to positive, what do you think the percentage would be? 80% negative and 20% positive? Is it 50/50? Or is it 80% positive and 20% negative. Probably depends on who you talk to. If you look at the news, it would probably be 80% negative because we all know negativity sells. Why, because when someone sees someone else having a hard time, they feel better about themselves. It’s amazing how that happens.

Personally, I choose to not watch the news, or media, or really anything except for things that will make me happy. Grandmaster Paul Melella sometimes says I live with my head in the ground. It may seem that way, but not really. I just choose not to be effected by things I can’t control and focus on the things I can. As a result, it is much easier to stay positive and be happier.

Fact is, challenging things happen to all of us. Some worse than others. My suggestion is no matter what is happening, ask yourself, “What’s the positive?”. I know it is simple but when you do that, your mind forces yourself to look hard for something going right. This could give you just enough hope to overcome whatever the obstacle is. BTW, this applies in any area of life from business, to personal or anything. Stay positive folks!
