Most people spend their entire lives living inside the day-to-day,running from task to task, putting out fires, and reacting to whatever shows up in front of them. They’re so busy in their lives that they almost never step back to actually work on their lives.
And when you suggest personal development, reflection, or improvement, the most common response is predictable:
“I don’t have the time.”
“I can’t afford it.”
My answer is always the same:
You can’t afford not to.
There’s an old saying I love:
Everyone should meditate for 20 minutes a day. If you don’t have time, then you should meditate for an hour.
The message is simple…
If you’re too busy to invest in yourself, then you’re too busy not to.
If you’re too overwhelmed to grow, then growth is exactly what you need.
If life feels like it’s moving too fast, that’s the moment to slow down and look inward.
Because nothing changes until you change.
And nothing improves until you improve.
Happy living.
